This health check is for people who want to take control of their own health and acquire a clear and comprehensive understanding of their physical and mental state, their level of physical fitness and the health of their diet. Cardiovascular risk calculation, biological age, posture, stamina, stress levels, vitamin balance, these are just a few of the parameters our practitioners will assess during our comprehensive all-health check.

Two visits with a GP, 2 Allied Health assessments (you choose between our Naturopath, Dietician, Exercise Physiologist or Podiatrist), one visit with our Psychotherapist and a session of relaxation (you choose between our Reflexologist and our Bowen Therapist/Masseuse).

It also includes:

-Body composition analysis

-General Health check (full medical examination, ECG, Spirometry, blood chemistry, etc., as needed) with our GP (30 minutes)

-Skin check with body mapping (if required)

-A reporting session to put it all together and plan for the future (up to 30 minutes)

1) Body composition analysis measures body fat, muscle, water and bone mass with a method called bio-impedance analysis. Special scales are used for this method and the Exercise Physiologist then interprets the results for you.

2) The Exercise Physiologist performs a fitness assessment and recommends an exercise plan based on your needs. A diet and nutrition follows. As an alternative, Health & Wellbeing now offers a session with our Naturopath/Herbalist and/or one with the Podiatrist. The choice of 2 out of 4 practitioners is yours!

3) Life is full of stresses and often we keep on pushing on and on without taking time to stop and reflect on the direction our life is taking. A moment of reflection with our Psychotherapist will be an invaluable addition to your health check and allow you to gauge the levels of your emotional and mental wellbeing.

4) A session with our GP will cover your physical health down to the evaluation of each major body systems. Blood, urine tests and other investigations will be requested as needed.

5) The Mole Mate skin diagnostic system and a digital camera will be utilised for the skin checks.

6) To relief the stress of such a comprehensive health check we have included a session with our Reflexologist or our Bowen Therapist/Masseuse (your choice), so you can unwind and relax all those troublesome spots. Our Reflexologist and our Bowen Therapist are also Natural therapists and can advise on natural remedies and supplements.

7) A final session with our GP or with the team (should you wish to have a joint session) concludes the health check and you will receive a list of results and recommendations for 'health and wellbeing'.

An additional gift from us!

At the end of the holistic health check you will receive a 1Gigabyte USB memory stick with a suite or portable applications and all the results of your tests plus a list of recommendations that you can consult at leisure whenever you are connected to a computer.

Some of the items of the health check attract a Medicare rebate and we charge those amounts directly to them, so you only have to pay $365.00 for the health check.

This amount is payable at the time of booking.

Once you start the program, it is your responsibility to complete all the steps involved and attend the different practitioners as per the schedule that will be given to you when you sign up.
