Our Receptionists are on the phone between 8:15 am and 5:00 pm every day. An answering machine is otherwise checked every morning to retrieve messages you may have left when we are closed.
This is a mixed billing practice. We bulkbill all health care card holders and children up to 16. Non-concession clients are billed a gap on top of Medicare rebateable items, the gap not normally exceeding 30 dollars.
Our receptionists can reimburse medicare rebate directly in most cases although sometimes the networks are down....

We have a commitment to providing quality care, and as a result we are constantly reviewing our performance in different areas and may be involved in teaching activities or research.
This has advantages of keeping us on our toes and up to date, while also providing training for the next generation of health professionals.
1.Week days.
We are open every week day between 8:30 am and 5:15 pm.
2.Saturdays.
We are open between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm
3.Evenings.
On Tuesdays and Fridays we open till 7:00 pm.
4.Afterhours and holidays.
Our clients have access to the Afterhours GP clinic at the Townsville Hospital Premises in Douglas, when we are closed.

Our Logo and Philosophy
The logo we have chosen for this practice enshrines the philosophy of holistic medical care.
The green part is the body, the purple the soul and blue for the mind.
A state of health is achieved when all three elements are in balance. A balance of elements as a basis for health is also the common denominator of most types of medicine, ancient or modern, from the West or from the East, healing practices based on religious and spiritual teachings and those that rely solely on scientific research.

We now offer Injectable Nutrients. Please make an appointment with Dr Morisco if you are interested in Vitamin C, B, D, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Glutathione injections and infusions. Fees will be posted as soon as possible.
