Alex Morris

I started work with Health and Wellbeing North Ward as a full-time receptionist which quickly sparked my interest in mental health as I had the opportunity to work alongside really great mental health practitioners and psychologists. Upon my decision to pursue study through James Cook University in the hope to attain a Bachelor of Psychology, the staff of HWB have been very supportive and I therefore remained working part-time.
In the future I do hope to progress through the Health & Wellbeing North Ward team and become part of the allied health team as a Psychologist.

In 2015 I was finally able to start my full-time studies in Registered Nursing through Central Queensland University. I look forward to gaining as much knowledge as I can, whilst on the job, to help me with my studies and future career in Health Care.”
