Stephanie is well known to all our clients and everyone knows her open smile.
She says: ‘I have been working at Health and Wellbeing North Ward for 2 and a half years. I spent the first year as a Trainee through TORGAS to complete my Certificate 3 in Business Administration.
I enjoy meeting new people everyday and the busy environment keeps me on my toes!’
I started work with Health and Wellbeing North Ward as a full-time receptionist which quickly sparked my interest in mental health as I had the opportunity to work alongside really great mental health practitioners and psychologists. Upon my decision to pursue study through James Cook University in the hope to attain a Bachelor of Psychology, the staff of HWB have been very supportive and I therefore remained working part-time.
In the future I do hope to progress through the Health & Wellbeing North Ward team and become part of the allied health team as a Psychologist.
Tia joined Health & Wellbeing North Ward in July 2015. She comes with specific experience having worked in Medical Reception at other practices in town.
Lara has just joined our Reception/ Administration Team as a casual, while studying Nursing Full Time.
She says: “I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to work with such a great and comprehensive team. In 2015 I was finally able to start my full-time studies in Registered Nursing through Central Queensland University. I look forward to gaining as much knowledge as I can, whilst on the job, to help me with my studies and future career in Health Care.”
